Chris started racing Dwarf Cars in 1996 and won 5 championships, 40 main events, He was 2001 NSRA Rookie of the Year, top ten in points in 2001, 2002, 2003 including one main event win at Roseburg .

In 2005 finished Chris was 10th in points in the USAC Western Sprints while competing in 10 of the 12 races.

In 2006  he ran 5 races in NOMA with 1 main event win and 3 top 3 finishes.
